Property Development Company since 1995
BTS Land Capital Sdn Bhd began its corporate journey in 1995 as a property development company called Bandar Tasik Semenyih Sdn Bhd. The company launched its maiden 212 acre township development in Semenyih in 1996 with a 20-acre recreational lake garden, with the motivation to build affordable country homes for the lower and middle-income groups so that they too could enjoy living in a beautifully landscaped environment. At the time of launching its maiden township development, it was a great success - with sales volume reaching around RM100 million within a period of one and a half years upon launching.
Achieving Milestones with Batu Caves Centrepoint and Seri Damai Developments
After the successful launch of this project, the group embarked on an ambitious mixed commercial development in Batu Caves called Batu Caves Centrepoint, which comprised of 852 units of shop units, apartments and offices. Despite the initial challenge of the 1997 financial crisis – this project was also an astounding success with 100% take up rate.
Subsequently the company went on to develop the Seri Damai development in Kajang, comprising of 97 units of bungalow and semi–d and 39 units of terrace. A small park with recreational facilities was also built to accompany the development and contribute to the neighborhood.
Expanding Horizons with Strategic Investments and Innovative Developments
Under the company’s subsidiary Seri Tasik Semenyih Sdn Bhd, it subsequently expanded its land bank by purchasing another parcel of land next to its existing development in Semenyih for long term investment purposes/future developments.
The group continued its development in the year 2005 with a boutique luxury development of 8 units of modern semi-detached houses and also built Tetris apartments in 2013, which sits on a prime 3.013 commercial land alongside Jalan Broga Semenyih, this development comprises of 141 units of purpose-built student apartments for rental to the students of prestigious Nottingham University Malaysia Campus located just 1.5km from site.
Driving Growth Through Innovation, Sustainability, and Community Care
The group has also recently ventured into agriculture, planting about 10,000 matured agarwood trees in Semenyih for harvesting.
The group is now embarking in a new direction, with the younger generation looking at new business opportunities to continue the growth of the group - establishing itself as an investment holding company with ambitions to step and expand into new industries and
investments.
In addition to its corporate activities, BTS group of companies is very much committed and dedicated to helping the less fortunate and has been continuously contributing to charitable bodies and other charitable causes over the years.
